Welcome!

Hello and welcome to Taylor's Netbeans tutorials! Here I offer simple tutorials with objective based learning with the Netbeans IDE!

This blog is FULL of super-newbie-beginner tutorials that will help wannabe enthusiasts get started with their programming adventure! You don't need any prior programming experience or java experience to begin. Just download the Netbeans IDE from http://netbeans.org/downloads/ and then start doing some tutorials!

I believe the best way to learn is to challenge yourself and meet those challenges, which some refer to as 'Objective based learning'. It's a little term I came across in my studies and it's my favorite way to learn! In a nutshell, it means skipping all the tedious terminologies, source coding etiquette's, boring textbooks, and instead delving right into application development with a guiding hand. Pick something you'd like to create, I'd recommend the calculator tutorial for your first project!

Challenge yourself! Make a calculator FIRST!

You can begin a tutorial by clicking a link on the right. More tutorials and pages added daily, if you have a suggestion on what you'd like to see added today or tomorrow, please leave me a suggestion in the comments below or you can email me at
